The Civil Engineering Department was established in 2009. The department currently offers an undergraduate course in civil engineering with a total yearly intake of 60 students. The educational objectives of the civil engineering program are designed to produce skilled engineers who are ready to contribute effectively to the civil engineering profession and are ready to handle the challenges of the profession. The civil engineering department is committed to producing civil engineers who: Shall apply fundamental technical knowledge and skills to find creative solutions to technological challenges and problems in various areas of basic sciences and engineering.

A Women’s Engineering College in general and the KMCT College of Engineering for Women in particular, provides a very peaceful ambience for the female students to study and develop their profession. College has already become one among the top 25 Engineering Colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University based on the academic results. College has received many awards and recognitions for its involvement in social development. The NCC Unit is yet another opportunity for the girls to tone up their physical mental skills. Students will get the C Certificate when they complete the requirements and this will enrich their career.
